The British Columbia Ferries started out as a small fleet of two ships, two terminals and about 200 employees. Now, 50 years later, BC Ferries has become one of the largest and most sophisticated ferry systems in the world. The fleet now hosts 4,700 employees and embodies 36 vessels that service 47 destinations.
In 2008, three new Super-C Class ferries were introduced into the BC Ferries fleet and in 2009 the company launched a commercial division that ships goods between ports, which have both provided this waterway system with the strength and distinction to appeal to tourists worldwide. Check out the rich history and brilliant waterside scenery offered by the waterway routes of the BC Ferries.
