Yamaha Produces Yamalube 2 Cycle Oil

p_yamalubeThe Yamaha Motor Company, which was launched in 1955, is a subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation.  The focus was on motorized vehicles rather than musical instruments, which the company was already well-known for. Now they are  best known for their motorcycles and recreational vehicles such as snowmobiles, scooters, boats and outboard motors.

Yamaha also offers a line of products related to those vehicles. One of these products is Yamalube 2 Cycle oil. This oil was designed specifically for Yamaha Outboard motors.  They also recommend using Yamalube Ring Free Plus in each tank of fuel, to counter the effects of ethanol and the unpredictable quality levels of today’s gasoline.

Yamalube 2W On A Waverunner

4595l72_20For the longest time, I had hoped to purchase a WaveRunner. I had never even ridden on one before, but I’d seen a lot of them and thought that they looked like they would be a lot of fun. I saved up my money for quite a while and recently, I was able to afford a really nice one. I’ve been having a blast with it since I picked it up.

Maintenance is definitely something that’s important when it comes to properly taking care of a WaveRunner and I’ve been making sure to use Yamalube 2W whenever needed. That was the motor oil that I was advised to use by the dealer that I bought my WaveRunner from. So far, everything’s been working perfectly!

Boat Enthusiasts And Yamaha Outboard Oil

2013-Yamaha-F4-F5-F6-EU-NA-Action-005According to a report released by the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation in 2010, more than twenty million people in the United States own a boat, which constitutes as 7.3 percent of Americans over the age of sixteen. In addition to this, they said that in the year 2009, more than fifty million participants went boating. Cruising and fishing were determined to be the most popular boat-related activities.

One last interesting piece of information that they released was that ten million outdoor enthusiasts were currently considering boat ownership. With that many people out there looking to buy a boat, one hopes that they are making sure to stay informed regarding proper boat maintenance, perhaps with Yamaha outboard oil or another type of motor oil.

Stocked Up On WaveRunner Oil

Quintana Roo, Riviera Maya, Punta Maroma, Hotel Maroma, Waverunners - Photo by MaromaI feel that the WaveRunner gets neglected when it comes to watercraft. You see people with all different types of  boats or on jet skis and things like that, but I rarely ever see a WaveRunner where I live. Which is too bad, because riding around on a WaveRunner is so much fun! It’s probably my favorite thing to do on the water.

I for one, use my WaveRunner far more often than I use my boat. I enjoy going out on my WaveRunner as often as possible. For that reason, I always make sure to stock up on WaveRunner oil, also known as Yamalube 2W, so that I can make sure to keep it maintained properly and keep my personal watercraft in excellent shape.

Snowmobile Oil Even In The Spring

AdvancedSnowmobileAs spring begins to approach, I’m sad to say that snowmobile season is quickly slipping away from us. I love finding areas where I can ride around on my snowmobile and it’s something that I always miss during the summertime. Where I live, it can stay pretty cold for a while, even into spring, but then all of a sudden, the snow will be melted away.

When winter can essentially end at the drop of a hat, it’s always important to find time to go out on my snowmobile while there is still snow outside. That’s why I always make sure to keep snowmobile oil on hand, even as we move into spring, considering there’s never any guaranteed date where there won’t be snow anymore.

The Usage Of Ringfree Plus

Grady (2)It’s a fact that all engines, including boat engines, burn fossil fuels that produce carbon. When the carbon that is produced sticks to the engine, one can start running into problems with their vehicles. Because of this, some companies have determined ways to prevent this from happening via the usage of quality fuel additives.

One such additive, produced by Yamaha as part of their Yamalube fuel line, is a product called Ringfree Plus. Ringfree Plus is designed specifically to remove carbon deposits and keep carburetors, intake valves, fuel injectors, piston crowns, and other areas of your vehicle clean. It also keeps piston rings from sticking; its ultimate purpose is to keep your vehicle running smoothly.

Yamaha And Yamalube 2M

optimax 115 speed_500x310Yamaha is a very interesting Japanese company that was formed in 1887; at the time, they exclusively built piano and reed organs. While they started out producing only musical instruments and accessories, they expanded into the manufacture of motorcycles after World War II. Gradually, they expanded into more and more industries, becoming a multibillion dollar company.

In this day and age, they are not only the largest manufacturer of musical instruments in the world, but they have also delved into other industries with great products. One of the things that Yamaha develops, through the Yamaha Motor Company subsidiary, is motor oil such as Yamalube 2M, which is excellent for boat maintenance.

Yamalube 2-M Oil For The Springtime

3300_2_m_11_60_10201It’s getting to be that time of year again when we’re starting to see the Sun peek out from behind the clouds and occasionally getting weekends where there’s some nice weather. As an avid boater, this means one thing for me: that I finally get to take my boat back out on some of my favorite lakes.

I always get really excited when we first start getting these pseudo-spring days where it’s legitimately sunny out and even if it’s not really warm out yet, it’s still a sign of things to come. Whenever the weather starts to get like this, I always rush out and start getting supplies for my boat, like Yamalube 2-M oil, so that I can be completely ready at a moment’s notice to take it out on the open water.

Fueled Up With Yamalube 2W Oil

oilerThere’s an area on the border of Washington and Oregon where I went fishing recently, because walleye season is starting up over there. It was certainly an adventure taking my boat out there, considering it was the middle of February and was still mind-numbingly cold outside. But me and my buddies are pretty dedicated fishermen so we decided to trek all the way out there.

Before I headed out, I made sure to fuel up my boat with some Yamalube 2W oil. I wanted to make certain that my boat was up to par and wouldn’t cause us any problems while we were out there in the cold. Everything worked out great and we had a pretty great weekend, regardless of how freezing it was outside. All of us caught some pretty big walleye!

Yamalube Oil Or Something Else?

black-oilA lot of people ask what the differences between most oils are. It is true that, at its core, most oils do the same exact thing. They lubricate the engine and keep it from overheating. Some oils do it better than others because some oils are fully synthetic and other are just semi-synthetic. Manufacturers suggest that you use their specific brands of oil for their engines but what happens if you use something else?

Yamaha recommends that I use their specific brand of Yamalube Oil on my outboard engine. They say that their oil is specially formulated for their engines and using something else might have negative impacts on the engine. I heard from other people that they don’t like using the more expensive oil because the cheaper oil does pretty much the same thing than its more expensive counterparts. My preference is to stick to what the manufacturer tells you to avoid unnecessary harm to a very expensive piece of equipment. I would much rather spend a few extra dollars on motor oil than to have to replace my outboard engine. But to each his own, I guess.

Is Yamalube 2m oil Adequate Enough For Me?

Quads in QueenstownI’m always worried that I’m not taking good enough care of my outboard engine. My boat is the second biggest purchase of my life so I want to make sure that it’s going to last and not give out on me in a few years. I follow the manufacturer’s directions on how to maintain it and I often ask mechanics to give me tips and advice.

The other day, I was wondering if I should change the kind of oil I am using on my outboard engine. I currently use Yamalube 2m Oil and it works fine for me, but I’m curious if another brand will have more benefits. I want to try some fully synthetic oil because I read that it protects the engine better. My current oil is only partially synthetic. The other kind is more expensive so I am kind of apprehensive to switch because it might do the same things my current oil does, but for a higher price. Most people say that it can be beneficial to switch but using the same brand also a safe way to go. I think I’m just going to stick with what I am currently doing.

Some Wasted Yamaha 2m Oil

IMG_12My son likes to rummage through my tool bench in the garage to find the tools he needs to build his birdhouses. My son learned how to build them in shop class in school and he’s taken a liking to working with his hands. The birdhouses he builds are getting more intricate and he is able to sell them to our neighbors for a reasonable price. I’m glad he found a hobby.

Every so often, he would forget to clean up his mess in the garage. He would leave tools lying around and one time he knocked over some of my Yamaha 2m oil and just left the spill there for two whole days. It stained the floor but he was responsible enough to replace what he spilled. I taught him the value of a dollar and how he shouldn’t waste things if he could help it. He said he learned his lesson and now he cleans up every time.
