Maintain your Watercraft with Yamalube 2W Oil

38357When deciding on a personal watercraft for your summertime fun, it’s important to consider what it takes to properly maintain the vehicle. Through proper maintenance of your pwc right from the start, you will extend the life of the craft and get a better investment. It will also greatly reduce the need for costly repairs.

Washing your boat is more important than you might expect. It will help prevent some of the effects of environmental wear and tear. Taking care of your battery by routinely checking if it’s charged and has the correct fluid levels will help extend its life. Maintaining your motor with Yamalube 2W oil and flushing the engine after every outing will also extend its life.

Waverunner and Yamaha 2W Oil for Anniversary

12ft-2013-yamaha-waverunner-fx-sho-1My girlfriend and I have done a lot of bonding out on the water; one of our very first dates was on a ferry ride and we both enjoy fishing and other activities that can be done out on the water. Whenever summer rolls around, we like to go boating and fishing in as many lakes and rivers as we can over the course of the season, while the weather is still nice.

This year, for our anniversary, I decided that we would do something that we had never done before, and I got us a Waverunner, alongside all the Yamaha 2W oil that I would need for it. I think that my girlfriend will really enjoy riding around on a Waverunner and I’m really excited to reveal the surprise to her, so that we can have fun with it together.

Yamalube 2W On A Waverunner

4595l72_20For the longest time, I had hoped to purchase a WaveRunner. I had never even ridden on one before, but I’d seen a lot of them and thought that they looked like they would be a lot of fun. I saved up my money for quite a while and recently, I was able to afford a really nice one. I’ve been having a blast with it since I picked it up.

Maintenance is definitely something that’s important when it comes to properly taking care of a WaveRunner and I’ve been making sure to use Yamalube 2W whenever needed. That was the motor oil that I was advised to use by the dealer that I bought my WaveRunner from. So far, everything’s been working perfectly!

Fueled Up With Yamalube 2W Oil

oilerThere’s an area on the border of Washington and Oregon where I went fishing recently, because walleye season is starting up over there. It was certainly an adventure taking my boat out there, considering it was the middle of February and was still mind-numbingly cold outside. But me and my buddies are pretty dedicated fishermen so we decided to trek all the way out there.

Before I headed out, I made sure to fuel up my boat with some Yamalube 2W oil. I wanted to make certain that my boat was up to par and wouldn’t cause us any problems while we were out there in the cold. Everything worked out great and we had a pretty great weekend, regardless of how freezing it was outside. All of us caught some pretty big walleye!

Won Some Yamalube 2w

accy2wjbwv-250I consider myself a lucky guy in some aspects. I’m lucky enough to have a good family and friends. I’m also lucky enough to be relatively healthy. I’m always thankful for these things. Although in games of chance, I’m not so lucky. I almost never win any type of lottery or raffle. Pretty much anything involving a prize or money, I’m not going to do well in.

The one time I actually one something it was during a random raffle drawing at a church picnic. The prize wasn’t anything major, just some Yamalube 2w, but it was something. I was running low on engine oil anyway so I was glad I was able to win something that I had some use for. Some people have all the luck when it comes to winning games of chance. A friend of mine won a 42 inch high definition television from a slot machine at a casino. He just put in some money and hit a button and he won. This same friend also ran into some lingerie models at a night club and got to hang out with them for the entire night. Oh well. I still wouldn’t trade what I have for anything in the world.

Scarcely Stocked

I stopped by a boating store the other day while I was doing a little bit of shopping out on the town. I’ve had a boat myself for quite some time now so I always make a point to stop by the boating store to see if they’ve got anything in stock that I might need, just in case there’s something I’ve been meaning to purchase for my boat but haven’t gotten around to actually buying yet.

While I was in the store, I made sure to grab up a bottle of Yamalube 2W oil for my boat; I’ve been having a good deal of trouble finding it lately in brick and mortar stores, so seeing a bottle of it sitting there, I felt like I had to buy it. I decided it was a good purchase to make; when I went back recently, they didn’t have any in stock!

Surprise Boat Trip

One of my friends called me up out of the blue recently; I hadn’t heard from him in a while so I was a little surprised. He told me to come over to his house because he had some awesome plans for the weekend that he wanted to include me in. I didn’t have anything planned so I went over to his house.

When I got there, he had a bottle of Yamaha 2W oil in one hand and a printed off picture of Chesapeake Bay in the other hand. Quickly, I knew exactly what we were going to be doing that weekend and it was much-needed. We were going to do some boating and fishing up in Chesapeake Bay. We went out there and had a great time.

Scuba Diving

I decided that I wanted to try out some scuba diving; it’s something I’ve never done before but always wanted to do. I’ve got a boat, so with some supervision and some classes, I might be able to go out and do it with some friends after I’ve got enough knowledge about it.

Recently, after signing up for scuba classes, I went to this scuba store not too far away from where I live. I got a whole bunch of scuba gear that I would need for going out on my own scuba expeditions; I wanted to have high quality equipment to keep myself safe when I was out scuba diving because I think I’ll end up doing this quite a bit. Afterwards, I picked up some Yamalube 2W oil for my boat.

Excessive or Prepared?

My dad can be a little excessive sometimes, although he claims that he’s just trying to always stay prepared. And for the most part, he is prepared for any occasion, but that doesn’t negate the fact that he’s also pretty excessive. Take his new boat for instance: he sold his old car and picked up a new car on a whim just so he’d be able to properly tow the boat.

When it came to finding things to maintain his boat, he was bit excessive too. For instance, there were a lot of things that he bought in bulk. He picked up an oil drum filled with Yamalube 2W oil so that he wouldn’t have to worry about purchasing it by the bottle.

Water Crafts

Being out on the water is great fun, and the way most people like to do it is on water crafts. There are many different types of water crafts – from boats to WaveRunners to jet skis and onward – and each of them requires specific types of maintenance that are different from one another.

For example, it’s important to know what’s the right oil to use depending on your marine vehicle to make sure it’s being maintained correctly and safely. For instance, Yamalube 2W oil is useful for WaveRunners, while it’s probably not going to do a lot of good for most boats. These sorts of things are important to know to make sure your water craft is running smoothly.

Women Can Boat Too

My girlfriend grew up boating with her parents a lot. She was an only child and while a lot of people associate boating as a ‘men’s activity,’ she’s proven that that doesn’t always have to be the case. She knows more about the mechanics of boats than I know about the mechanics of anything; her father worked on both cars and boats for a living and knew the ins and outs of all of it and taught her about it too.

She’s got a couple of boats of her own that she maintains and works on herself. She always uses Yamaha 2W oil in her boat and she keeps everything up to date when it comes to the boat’s maintenance needs. She makes sure people think twice before they think boating is a man’s world!

More Essential Yamaha Outboard Tools

Yesterday we detailed a few Yamaha outboard tools all responsible owners should have on hand. In continuing in that vein, boat owners should also carry extra spark plugs and a spark plug tool. On site swaps are not too difficult for a regular DIY-er.

Fluids, again, not strictly tools, are essential. You will want to have power trim and tilt fluid, like Performance Power, to ensure the prop shaft works properly. Yamalube 2W oil or Yamalube 4M oil, depending on what type of outboard motor you have, is necessary for proper motion and extending the lifespan of a motor. You may want to stock up on gear-case lubricant, too.
