jet-ski

Your jet ski’s engine is the most important part of the machine, and through maintaining it you can help your jet ski to last through the years. When it comes to jet skis, there are both simple and complex maintenance practices that should be done at various intervals. For example, you will want to check your oil level often. In addition, note that jet skis use specially formulated oil, like Yamalube outboard motor oil. It’s also important to flush the water from your engine regularly. A gradual build-up of algae, dirt, and grit can erode your engine. If you’re using your jet ski in salt water locations, salt build up is one of the more serious concerns, as it can erode your engine quickly. Salt is best removed with hot water and a scrubber.

It’s also important to keep an eye on your impeller which can become tangled with weeds and other objects, and quickly hinder your engine.
