, 01 17th, 2008It is important to check you motor oil frequently. Whenever your oil is below “full” it is advisable to top it off.
If you notice that oil is off color then its time to change it. Old motor oil loses its viscosity and accumulates residue that can harm your engine and we don’t want that. You want your outboard motor to run like a well-oiled machine with top performance so you will want to make sure your oil is the best.
Since outboard motor oil can be expensive you may want to consider buying it in bulk.
Take care or your outboard motor regularly so that it lasts you. If you love your boat’s engine it will love you back with years of fun on the surf and in the sun.
